I started drawing an octopus every day since October of 2010 - over 700 and counting! Check out the archive view for the full effect. I haven't been updating as much recently but please stay tuned for more sporadic cephalopods!

You can also find prints and originals of my pieces on etsy.

Let’s do this.
hop skip and a jumptopus: watercolors, watercolor pencils : 12” x 9”
After so many months of not posting anything new, I wanted to post something SUPER AWESOME when I started back up - I’ve been putting it off way too long though! So this little guy is a bit confused - I went too bold with the initial colors I put down, which can be problematic with watercolors. So it’s not exactly what I wanted it to be, but it’s a start. Looking forward to giving it another try. I think I might begin doing variations of the same octopus every week to see how things develop/change/improve.
(Sorry about the crappy quality of the photo! Proper scan forthcoming.)
